Creator Program Terms of Service

These Creator Program Terms of Service ("Creator Terms") govern your participation in the Sousy Creator Program (the "Program"). The Program allows eligible creators to publish recipes, connect those recipes to social media posts, and earn referral bonuses when new users subscribe to Sousy through their content.

These Creator Terms supplement Sousy’s main Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict between the Creator Terms and the main Terms with respect to the Program, these Creator Terms will control.

By creating a creator profile, linking social accounts, publishing recipes, or sharing your cookbook link, you agree to these Creator Terms. If you do not agree, do not participate in the Program.

1. Eligibility and Enrollment

To participate in the Program, you must:

  • Maintain an active Sousy account and creator profile
  • Be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction)
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete account information
  • Not be restricted from using Sousy under applicable laws or regulations

Sousy reserves the right to review, approve, suspend, or remove any creator from the Program at any time, with or without notice, including for suspected fraud, abuse, policy violations, or legal or compliance reasons.

2. Social Account Linking and Platform Integrations

Sousy may allow you to securely connect social media accounts (such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, or Facebook) using official platform integrations (OAuth or similar mechanisms). These connections allow Sousy to verify account ownership and display posts or videos you control.

You authorize Sousy to access, display, and associate eligible content from connected accounts solely for Program-related functionality. Sousy does not post on your behalf and only accesses data permitted by the platform and your authorization.

3. Cookbook Links and Marketing Requirements

You will be provided with a public cookbook link associated with your creator profile. You may share this link on platforms and channels you control, provided that you:

  • Accurately describe Sousy and the Program
  • Clearly disclose that you may earn referral bonuses where required by law
  • Avoid misleading, deceptive, or exaggerated claims
  • Do not engage in spam, fake engagement, or artificial traffic
  • Do not create or encourage self-referrals or multiple accounts
  • Do not use paid incentives or rewards without prior written approval

4. Attribution and Bonus Rules

The Program uses first-touch attribution. A user may be attributed to only one creator, permanently.

  • Attribution occurs when a user signs up after saving a recipe from your cookbook
  • Attribution may also occur if a user signs up and saves a creator recipe within 60 minutes of signup
  • Views, clicks, or impressions alone do not qualify for attribution

Referral bonuses are fixed amounts and are not a revenue share. Bonuses apply only to the first two paid months of a subscription:

Bonuses are created upon successful payment and remain pending for 30 days. If the subscription remains active after the clearing period, the bonus becomes available. Bonuses may be voided due to refunds, chargebacks, cancellations, fraud, or violations of these Terms. Bonuses associated with Apple in-app subscriptions are funded by Sousy.

5. Payouts and Stripe Connect

Payouts are processed monthly on the 1st for creators with at least $10 in available bonuses. Payments are issued in USD via Stripe Connect Express.

You are responsible for completing Stripe onboarding, maintaining accurate payout information, and complying with Stripe’s terms and identity verification requirements. Sousy may delay, withhold, or reverse payouts to comply with law, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud.

6. Taxes

You are solely responsible for all taxes, reporting obligations, and government filings related to bonuses you receive. Stripe may collect tax information or issue tax forms where required by law.

7. Creator Content and License

You retain ownership of your content. By participating in the Program, you grant Sousy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, distribute, and format your content as necessary to operate Sousy and the Program.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to publish your content and that it does not infringe the rights of others.

8. Prohibited Activity and Enforcement

You may not manipulate attribution, subscriptions, or analytics, engage in deceptive marketing, or attempt to game the Program. Sousy may suspend or terminate your participation and void bonuses if abuse is detected.

9. Program Changes and Termination

Sousy may modify or discontinue the Program at any time. Changes may take effect immediately. If your participation is terminated for cause, unpaid bonuses may be forfeited.

10. Disclaimers and Liability

Sousy does not guarantee earnings, reach, or results. Analytics are provided for informational purposes only and may be delayed or estimated. Liability limitations in the main Terms of Service apply to the Program.
